About the company
Maleta Company and Cie Balancetoi share an artistic search in which body, movement and emotion are central as a universal language. Both companies move along the boundary between circus, theatre and object manipulation.
Maleta Company explores juggling and manipulation as narrative tools. Cie Balancetoi, in turn, develops a human and visual stage language with theatre, physical expression and puppets. Claudette grew out of that meeting: a sensitive and humorous performance about old age, loneliness and connection between generations.
