About the company
Deabru Beltzak was founded in 1996 in the Spanish Basque Country, when actors from different professional companies came together through a shared passion for street theatre. Since then, the company has grown into an internationally recognised name in street theatre.
With its work, Deabru Beltzak wants to reclaim the street as an artistic space. Its performances combine rhythm, fire, movement and theatrical imagery into energetic experiences that unfold right among the audience.
