About the makers
Febe Coysman and Lena Majri met during their studies at RITCS in Brussels, where Febe followed the directing programme and Lena the acting programme. Steegske is their fourth production.
Their bachelor's project 'Once Upon a Time' was selected for Theater Aan Zee in 2023, and their graduation performance 'a Turtle's Tale' for Love At First Sight. In 2023, they created 'Baked Beans' together. After two stage productions, they return with 'Steegske' to their first great love: site-specific theatre. Once again, they create a cinematic world inhabited by grotesque characters. With humour and compassion, they unravel their tragedy and do not shy away from big questions and feelings.
