Anyone who wants to can join in, but no one has to: sometimes you keep watching, sometimes a small duet suddenly emerges. Warm, wordless and surprisingly physical.
EXTRA PERFORMANCE:
On Wednesday, August 5 at 20:00, THERE THERE Company will perform their show an extra time. In the unique setting of the Beguinage, with a live musician. So be sure to come for this unique event!
About the company
THERE THERE Company has been the company of partner acrobats and circus makers Hanna Mampuys and Toon Van Gramberen since 2016. Over the years, it has grown into a fixture within the Flemish circus and performing arts field.
Their physical language starts from hand-to-hand acrobatics, with cooperating bodies as the point of departure. In their performances, the performer is central in all their vulnerability and humanity. The focus is not on tricks, but on content, care, trust and the exciting process of trying, failing and succeeding. They also pass on that same attention to craft and empathy to amateurs, audiences and a new generation of circus artists.
