At the interface between circus and dance, Cie NDE presents a juggling performance without balls or cones.
With ‘El Dorado’, Nicanor De Elia seeks to translate the principles of juggling to the human body. Cones are replaced by arms, balls by fists. What remains are the basic laws of juggling: throwing and catching, and the tension between manipulating and being manipulated.
