What if we could break free from all our fears? Not to brush them away, because they will always be there, but to accept them, tame them, ridicule them. Cut ourselves loose from all our fears.
In ‘B L A N C’, Sébastien Wojdan grapples with his own fears: hypochondria, and the constant fear of dying. Fear of not being fulfilled, of not being loved, of being abandoned and rejected, of being ridiculed, of dying alone...
To break free of his obsessions with his own body, he sets himself physical challenges. After jogging ten kilometres, Wojdan places himself in the middle of a white room surrounded by high walls. In this way, the stage becomes a veritable laboratory in which the human body is dissected through words and objects: coffee, cups, oranges, loads of nails, knives, and a lot of sweat.
