Arno Ferrera, Gilles Polet en Jean-Daniel Broussé gaan de confrontatie aan met toxische mannelijkheid, een man-zijn van macht en controle. Stilaan ontmantelen ze hun harnas, een middel om anderen op afstand te houden, tot een oppervlakte die ons juist meer in staat stelt om met elkaar om te gaan.
'ARMOUR' schept een veilige ruimte waarin zachtheid en zelfspot centraal staan, in een intieme acrobatie waar het publiek vlak op zit. Hiermee bevragen ze (over)beschermingsmechanismen die menselijke relaties vaak in de weg staan en denken ze na over een nieuwe invulling van masculiniteit en viriliteit.
