About the company
For several years, Le Doux Supplice has been exploring the relationship between acrobatic carries and dance. In the company's work, the audience can always find a place: not as distant spectators, but as part of a shared experience.
The company was founded in 2012 and has been led since 2018 by Pierre-Jean Bréaud and Camille Rault-Verprey. Earlier creations such as Le (doux) supplice de la planche, En attendant le grand soir and La concordance des temps build a recognisable artistic language centred on acrobatics, dance, collective energy and the pleasure of moving together. With 'Les Petites Épopées...', Le Doux Supplice once again brings that search into public space.
